About the Role:
Robert David Malove PA is seeking a driven and passionate Criminal Associate Attorney to join our team in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities:
- Manage and litigate criminal defense cases from intake through resolution, including misdemeanors and felonies
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, briefs, and other court filings
- Represent clients at hearings, depositions, trials, and other court proceedings
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and legal counsel
- Negotiate with prosecutors to pursue favorable plea agreements or case dismissals
- Review and analyze evidence, police reports, and discovery materials
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar license in good standing
- Minimum 5 years of Prior experience in criminal law, criminal defense, or prosecution preferred
- Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and client-focused demeanor

Compensation: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

In 1979, Attorney Robert David Malove graduated from the American University School of Justice in Washington, D.C. with a Bachelor of Science degree in the Administration of Justice. Consistent with staying on the cutting edge of developments in criminal defense - one of Robert’s signature trademarks—he earned a Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from The George Washington University in 1981, where a number of courses were instructed at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center’s Institute of Forensic Pathology. He then graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1983. Robert Malove is board certified as an expert in criminal law by The Florida Bar.
